Chiropractors are considered to be doctors of the chiropractic practice. Although the chiropractic treatment is still considered as an alternative medicine, the course is one of the most in demand medical related course throughout the world. In taking the chiropractic course, students are required to have 4 years of undergraduate education. The World Health Organization has lists for possible paths that a full-time chiropractic education would take. There’s also an integrated bachelor program offered which can be completed in 5 years. And a 2 to 3 years masters program if a student should consider taking a masters degree.

To be able to obtain licensure, candidates must complete 12 months of clinical internship. In New Zealand where chiropractic treatment is well accepted legally, chiropractors often use the title doctors. But most chiropractic training is only confined in classroom and they spend more time learning theories and adjustments rather than seeing actual condition or hands on training. Though medical physician and chiropractors training are very different, any San Jose Chiropractors would argue that they are as good as or better than the medical physicians.
